POST FALLS -- Retired Principal Research Scientist Dr. Viera Scheibner of Melbourne, Australia, will be giving a presentation on Autism, SIDS and Shaken Baby Syndrome at the Templin's Resort in Post Falls, Idaho, on Saturday, October 21 at 7 p.m.
In 1985 Dr. Scheibner met Leif Karlsson, an electronics engineer specializing in patient monitoring systems. Together they developed Cotwatch, a true breathing monitor used with babies thought to be at risk of 'cot death' (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) [SIDS]).
The microprocessor in the Cotwatch recorded breathing patterns of babies. Scheibner and Karlsson realized that their Cotwatch was sounding alarms when babies were being affected by stressful events. They learned that post-vaccination stress was the most common factor which triggered Cotwatch breathing monitor alarms. Cotwatch data can be downloaded and printed. As a result, Cotwatch can clearly illustrate the stress vaccination places on infants. Scheibner and Karlsson's Cotwatch indisputedly established the link between vaccine injections and SIDS.
In 1988 Dr. Scheibner shared the results of Cotwatch with the medical community in Australia.
Many pediatricians acknowledged the connection between vaccination and SIDS. However, the medical community as a whole ignored their evidence.
Being unfamiliar with the controversy surrounding vaccinations, she began researching the issue herself.
After studying some 30,000 pages of medical papers dealing with vaccination, Dr. Scheibner discovered that there was no evidence that vaccines were either safe or effective. The results of her impeccable research culminated in the publishing of her final book, “Vaccination - 100 Years of Orthodox Research shows that Vaccines Represent a Medical Assault on the Immune System.”
Dr. Scheibner has lectured extensively in Canada, Europe, Australia and the United States. This strong and determined woman of boundless energy mesmerizes her audiences with her incredible ability to recall details from her research and still pepper the audience with humor. When asked whether she thinks anyone should be vaccinated, she answers emphatically, “Yes, the vaccinators!”
During her distinguished career Dr. Scheibner has published three books and 90 scientific papers that have been published in peer reviewed scientific journals.
This is such a vital topic that two congressional hearings convened this year in Washington D.C.
On April 6, 2000, expert testimony at the Government Reform Committee Hearing on Autism revealed a direct link in the epidemic rise in autism to triple antigen vaccines. On June 18 another congressional hearing chaired by Representative Dan Burton exposed conflict of interest between the pharmaceutical industry, the FDA and the CDC regarding vaccine recommendations.
